Twittaw is a social messaging service focused around threaded notes. Its main focus it to enhance the exchange of better conversations. The only thing you need to join is a Twitter ID. No registration needed.

Load

http://www.twittaw.com/  in your prefered desktop or smartphone mobile browser.



Twittaw loads up the Public stream/section by default, you will also see the Tags and Help sections by default in the Controls Bar.

Login

You got two options to login but the most eye catching should be the one at the top right corner:



Click the "Login via Twitter" link and you will be redirected to the Twitter OAuth Login Form.

Fill up your details and click "Allow", you will be returned to Twittaw now all logged on. Twittaw will the load up your Home stream/section by default.

Me

As you can see once you are logged your Twitter Photo Icon will appear in the Twittaw Header and if you click your picon this will direct you to your user stream called "Me". It is the same rule for everyone else. If you want to see the personal stream of a Twittaw user, just click their Photo Icons and these will lead you to ther personal streams.




Hover you photo icon (picon) at the top and you see it refers to "Me"

Once you click in your top picon, it will load to you to the Me stream where all your notes are added

                         
You Settings section is also accessed via Me and so it is Help

Sections

Twittaw got several sections or streams and they are it follows:



Home

Where your Notes  and the Note Thread you have replied in are tracked

Friends

Where the Notes posted by your friends are tracked when they are first posted and later if commented on.

To enable this section/stream you need to add a Twittaw Twitter List (See the Features page for clarifications)

Public

Where all the Notes add to all of Twittaw are tracked.

Settings

Where you can access options like comment cross-posting disabling and growl notification enabling.

You can only access this via Me



Help

You can only access this via Me




Tags

Where you can find all the Hashtags (#example) being used in Twittaw and where all your personal hashtags will be tracked once/if you use a hashtag for your or someone else notes.



This section can be accessed as the fourth section if you are in the Friends or Public streams.



Post

You can post your Notes via the Post Form at the top right corner once you are logged into Twittaw



Once you click Post, the Post Form will launch in lightbox. The Post Form can be used as a WYSIWYG when it comes to a note formating.



Once you start using hashtags, these will be tracked  not only in the tags section. But also via a tag selector you will see in your Post form so you can easily reuse your hashtags.

You can still add a hashtag manually into your text even if it is your first post. Once you are happy with how your Note reads and looks, just click post.

Notes

A note is the way your posts are known in Twittaw and they got for particular parts worth of noting out:



Comment Counter

It indicates the number of comments a Note Thread got and it is also the way to access a Note Thread.

Hashtag Tracker

Aggregates all tags references in a Note text or in the comments inside a Note Thread inside a bracketed space.

Last Comment In

Displays the last comment made in the note thread

Activity Time Stamp

It displays the time that has passed since the last updates was made to a note or a comment was added into a note thread.

Threads

Is simple the unique url where both the note and the comments for the note reside and are aggregated in.

Comments

You can post a comment to any thread and you can also format it or style in the same way you do with a note.

Action Buttons

They are functions that are only shown when you click in the body of a Note or a Comment:

Edit

If is a note or comment that belongs to you a notepad and pen will appear and once clicked you wll be able to edit your note or comment.

Translation

If a note or comment is in another language, this action butting will let you instantly translate it to your native language.

Reply To

It will prefill the comment form with the name of the person you are replying to (@username) and with the number of the comment you are replying at ( >>8 ) so everyone in a thread know to who and what you are replying to.

Log Out

If you want to log out just go to the fifth choice in the control bar and you will be off Twittaw. If you log out, you will have to relogin at your return. If you don't logout a cookie will save your session for 24 hrs.
